Recently credit card companies have been trying hard to make credit card use online and offline a safer option for individuals. The Federal Reserve and the Federal Trade Commission have now installed greater precautions to help protect individuals retain their credit rights.
Consumers will now have a few more rights than previously. These include a maximum late fee of $25 for the last 6 payments, only one fee charged per single payment as well as fees will not be used if individuals do not use their credit cards at all.
